On Saturday, March 17, 2012, the NY/NJ Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) held their 2012 Regional Conference at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Medical schools represented in APAMSA include students from  Mount Sinai, Albert Einstein, Cornell, Downstate, UMDNJ, and Columbia. The theme for this year was "Bridging the Gap" with the goal of addressing community outreach for underserved Asian communities with better tools for health providers in caring for their patients. CAMS board members, Victor Chang, M.D, Perry Pong, M.D., Mary Lee-Wong, M.D., and Blanche Leung, M.D., joined APAMSA members for the CAMS-sponsored Wine and Cheese Social that followed the conference. Many congratulations to our student collaborators for a job well done!
