Witt/Kieffer is representing Jiahui International Hospital, Shanghai, China in their search for a Chair, OB/GYN: Director Women’s Services. Advised by Boston-based, Massachusetts General Hospital, JIH is the first JCI accredited, private, tertiary care hospital and health system in Shanghai. More than that, it is the first of its kind in China, described as a multi-site, vertically integrated “ecosystem,” based on a culture of collaboration and patient/family focus. This Chair will lead the development of women’s services, with an early focus on establishing routine diagnostic and preventative care and US caliber OB programs, then further growth into IVF, endocrine and cardiology. Embedded in JIH, are research and education missions. Successful executives in Jiahui are collaborative, team-based, mission-focused, tenacious and able to lead through influence. Chinese language skills are not required. Board Certification and a desire to remain clinically active are essential. Administrative experience in programmatic development, recruitment, creation of clinical protocols and quality/safety standards is ideal. This individual needs to have the ability to navigate an international start-up opportunity. Primary Care Practice in Los Angeles, CA—Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking
CompHealth is currently assisting a multi-specialty group in California to search for an internal medicine or family medicine physician. The group serves a large Chinese patient base and seeks someone who speaks either Mandarin or Cantonese. This physician will help grow a new primary care practice. This will be a traditional practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday with alternating Saturdays and shared call. You will see 15 patients per day to start and that will increase eventually to 20 or more patients per day. You will work in a new office with state-of-the-art equipment as a member of a great group of internal medicine subspecialists and other primary care physicians. The group prefers that you be board certified. You will need an active CA medical license, and CompHealth’s licensing team can help you with the processing and application if necessary.
